TEMPLE. TX — An investigation continues to determine the cause of a Temple house fire on March 15.
According to Temple Fire and Rescue, investigators learned the two occupants did not have permission to be in a vacant house at 706 N. 4th Street.
There were no utilities connected to the vacant home which was previously tagged by the city as uninhabitable.
The house and vehicle parked in front were destroyed.
Radiant heat from the fire melted vinyl siding on the house next door at 704 N. 4th Street. and damaged a vehicle in the driveway.
Vacant residential buildings can present various problems.
