HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — A Harker Heights High School student is being honored for his service to the community.
Jarin Cole was selected by the Central Texas Youth Coalition to be part of the 20th Annual Incredible Kid Celebration on April 17.
Cole, a senior at Harker Heights High School, plays music for residents of local nursing homes and started the Annual Blues Under the Stars Concert in the City of Killeen.
The concert is to offer a family-friendly free event for the community.
Cole raised more than $1,000 for a fellow student that was involved in a car accident and has donated to several other causes.
