BELL COUNTY, TX — Harker Heights High School went on a precautionary lockdown after an incident near the school.
The lockdown was lifted at 1:51 p.m.
Killeen Independent School District sent a notification on their Facebook page to all families in the area, informing them that students and teachers are safe, and that the lockdown was precautionary.
The safety alert was updated when the lockdown was lifted.
