NOLANVILLE, TX — The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 22 out of Nolanville held an event offering free outfits for female veterans.
The event was held all weekend by Kathy Dunham, DAV Auxiliary Commander. Dunham will be scheduling additional dates to ensure more military women are reached.
"Come in and get outfits to go back to school, back to church or back to work," Dunham said. "A lot of the transitioning female veterans coming out of the Army having been in their fatigues and sweatpants forever and they don't have a lot of clothing to jump right back into school or work, so we want to make this transition very easy for them."
