Four injured in fiery Temple crash

TEMPLE, TX — Temple Fire and Rescue said around 3 a.m., a SUV was driving on W. Adams Avenue when it hit a concrete column, causing extensive damage.

A portable extinguisher was used to limit a fire that started near the engine until firefighters arrived to put out the remaining flames.

Temple police and bystanders helped the four passengers out of the SUV.

All four people were taken to Baylor Scott & White for treatment.
