FORT HOOD, TX — Rumors about coronavirus at the Fort Hood hospital are not true, according to Col. Richard Malish.
Commander Richard Malish says there are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus at Carl R. Darnall Medical Center.
"CRDAMC is staffed by personnel expert in the treatment and containment of infectious disease. While we currently have no cases of confirmed #COVID19 infection in our wards or personnel, we are postured to manage such cases in the future," the Facebook post says.
Col. Malish says the Fort Hood community should be assured that their facilities stands ready to support coronavirus and any illness or injury.
