TEMPLE, TX — Temple Fire and Rescue responded to a reported building fire on Wednesday morning.
According to officials, the fire was at 5115 Station Drive. The first arriving unit reported smoke showing from a one-story metal maintenance building.
Firefighters conducted a search inside the building and found no one inside. The fire was put out.
Kegley Road was closed to traffic for a short time when the fire hose was connected to a hydrant across the street.
Fire investigators ruled the fire unintentional with an undetermined cause. The area of origin included general electrical and HVAC system.
Damage to the building is estimated at $200,000 and damage to its contents is estimated at $300,000.
There were no injuries.
