TEMPLE, TX — Temple Fire & Rescue is investigating the cause of a mobile home fire that ignited Thursday afternoon.
Crews were called out around 2:39 p.m. for a report of a structure fire on West Nugent.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from a mobile home located in the Derby Mobile Home Park at 3113 West Nugent.
No one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported at this time.
The fire was under control and extinguished by 3 p.m.
The Temple Police Department and Temple EMS also responded to the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. Authorities are asking the community to avoid the area as fire crews remain on scene.
