KILLEEN, TX — Although many people across the state are practicing social distancing - technology has allowed a lot of things to still be possible.

For example, did you sign up for a 5k? You certainly cannot do it with a group anymore, but one organization is moving their race online.

The Fallen Hero 5k is going virtual. The race costs $20 to register, and a t-shirt and hand sanitzer is guaranteed for the first 100 registrants.

Registration ends May 1.

They said there will be awards given for the overall winners, and the top three winners in each age group.

You can pick up your race bag Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.
