Employees at 3 Bell County H-E-B locations test positive for COVID-19

Employees from at least three local H-E-B locations have tested positive for COVID-19.

One employee each at the Killeen location at 1101 W. Stan Schlueter Loop, the Harker Heights location of 601 Indian Trail and the Belton location of 2509 North Main Street has tested for COVID-19, according to the H-E-B website.

A Partner who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 was last in the Killeen store on June 12, 2020.

A Partner who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 was last in the Belton location on June 16, 2020.

And a Partner who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 waslast in the Harker Heights store on June 18, 2020.

"All directly affected Partners at the location have been notified and the store has been deep cleaned and sanitized multiple times since then," the statement said. "At our stores, we continue to enforce proper social distancing practices, strict sanitation and require the use of masks or facial covering by all our Partners and vendors in customer facing and close contact positions. H-E-B requests all our customers to wear masks or facial coverings while shopping in our stores. Social distancing, wearing masks, proper hand washing, and sanitization are all things we do to help keep Texas healthy."
