A 71-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly traveling to Bell County to meet with someone he believed was 16-years-old.
The Bell County Sheriff's office says 71-year-old David Edwin Mussell of Austin would peruse social media sites trying to entice female minors to meet with him to perform sex acts.
Mussell traveled from Austin to Bell County allegedly believing he was meeting a 16-year-old girl when deputies arrested him for online solicitation of a minor without incident.
He is currently in the Bell County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.
