Mission Remission is a grassroots group out of Windmill Farms neighborhood, who formed in order to help their fellow neighbors fight against cancer.
Becky Jett and Dawnella Stepp Carter have been neighbors for years and the community wanted to help in their fight for remission by throwing a bake sale event.
The bake sale items were baked and donated from fellow neighbors and all funds donated and collected will be given to Jett and Carter.
Mission Remission had an event Friday and will continue their bake sale Saturday from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
