Search crews have recovered the body of a man in his mid-20s at Temple Lake Park, said officials. A Justice of the Peace has been called to the scene.
The body was found around 6:30 p.m.
Multiple agencies responded Sunday afternoon to reports of a possible drowning at Temple Lake Park, said Thomas Pechal with the City of Temple.
Crews were searching for a missing swimmer who officials say went under the water at 4:57 p.m.

Agencies working the scene included Temple Police, Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens, Bell County Sheriff's Office, US Army Corps of Engineers, Temple Fire & Rescue, Morgan's Point Resort Fire Department, Morgan's Point Resort Police Department, and Temple EMS.
Officials say Temple police are still investigating the drowning and will release additional information as it becomes available.
