KILLEEN, TX — The community is invited to attend the burial service for SN Michael Charles Pry at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Pry is not expected to have anyone in attendance at his burial. The community is encouraged to attend the service, which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11:00 a.m at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Born on February 11, 1947, Mr. Pry served in the United States Navy from February 11, 1964 to February 9, 1968. He received the National Defense Service Medal.
Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush hopes that by spreading the word, Pry, a United States Navy Veteran, will not be buried alone.
Michael Charles Pry will receive military honors. If no next-of-kin is present at the burial, the On-Site Representative of the Veterans Land Board will accept the United States flag on Mr. Pry's behalf.
