KILLEEN, TX — The City of Killeen will test its sirens located throughout the city Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m.
If you are outdoors, the city says you will hear the sirens at 2 p.m.
Killeen has 22 sirens located throughout the city. The purpose is to alert residents, primarily those who are outdoors, in the event of emergencies.
These tests occur monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m., according to officials.
