KILLEEN, TX — The City of Killeen is accepting applications for the 2020 Killeen Citizens Academy.
The academy is a nine-week session designed to give the community an inside look into the municipal government.
Each class will go through a different department, function or program, and will involve presentations, interaction with staff and elected officials, and tours of various facilities.
Applicants must be 18 or older, may not be running for political office and may not be involved in litigation with the City of Killeen. Killeen and Fort Hood residents will be given priority enrollment.
The 2020 Killeen Citizens Academy is scheduled for January 23 through March 26 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Applications are due on January 3. There is no cost to enroll.
