BELTON, TX — The City of Belton will transition to a new online portal to monitor water usage. The system will allow customers to see exactly how much they can expect to pay.
The service gives the option for homeowners to specify a specific amount of water or an estimated bill amount that customers do not want to exceed. Once that threshold is reached, the customer will receive a notification.
The company who manages the portal says knowing your consumption is the first step in lowering the bill.
City residents can already pay their bills online. However, the new portal will expand to allow customers to view past bills, manage payment options and take advantage of monitoring features and alerts all in one place.
