KILLEEN, TX — Central Texas College has received a $113,000 grant from the State of Texas in order to help Bell County graduating high school seniors receive training and certifications in different career and technical fields.
Today, Governor Greg Abbott announced more than $5.2 million in Texas Talent Connection grants to 15 workforce skills training and job placement programs across the state.
Central Texas College in Bell County was awarded a $113,297 for the Educational Accelerated Gateway to Leadership and Employability Summer Camp. This program gives graduating high school seniors in Bell County the opportunity to participate in a "full college experience" while receiving training and certifications in high-demand career and technical fields.
