KILLEEN, TX — The Killeen Police Department is searching for a silver Jeep that caught on camera crashing into two vehicles and pinning a pedestrian between vehicles.
Police say around 6:24 p.m. on June 22, officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Colonel Drive for a crash involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they were told the drive of a silver Jeep was traveling eastbound on Colonel and intentionally struck the driver's side of a white Subaru vehicle that was parked in the roadway.
The driver continued to travel eastbound and struck a black Subaru vehicle that was parked on the same side of the road as the white Subaru. That crash caused the black Subaru to be pushed forward. The front end crashed into the back of a blue Subaru vehicle.
Paul Kalugdan Senior, says his son was a victim of the hit and run
"The guy just like got in his SUV. On his first pass, he took out his fire extinguisher and then sprayed a series of cars right on the way down and then when he got down to the stop sign he made a u-turn, came right back around and at full speed he rammed all the cars, well a series of cars," said Kalugdan, Sr.
Paul Kalugdan, Jr. was in between the black and blue Subaru's when the two collided.
The driver of the silver Jeep fled the scene without rendering aid and providing the necessary information.
The pedestrian was treated and released on scene by medics. Police say an investigation is ongoing.
