KILLEEN, TX — Two cars ran into a Killeen business during a crash, according to police.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Fort Hood Street and Elms Road in reference to a crash around 8:09 p.m. on March 17.
The investigation revealed that a red Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Elms Road when a silver Nissan Sentra traveling westbound on Elms Road entered the turning lane and failed to yield right of way.
The car turned left towards a private property causing the Toyota to strike the Nissan.
Due to the momentum and velocity, the Toyota continued through the private lot of a business and struck the business’ wall before coming to a stop.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to Advent Health with unknown injuries.
The three occupants of the Nissan reported no injuries.
Killeen Police say the driver of the Nissan received a citation for fail to yield right of way turning left.
