Friday night the community mourned the loss of Spc. Vanessa Guillen and demanded answers from Fort Hood officials at the corner of Rancier Ave and Fort Hood St.
Support continues for the Guillen family in honor of Vanessa, who disappeared on April 22.
People gathered outside the gates of Fort Hood for a candlelight prayer vigil to demand answers and pay their respects.
Officials have yet to identify remains found near Leon River. However, the Guillen family knows she’s dead and have learned the disturbing details of what happened when the soldier vanished on April 22.
The community and family are now mourning the tragic and sudden loss and calling for justice.
