Boil Water Notice rescinded in Troy

TROY, TX — The TCEQ has rescinded a boil water notice for customers north of FM 935 in Troy.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required public water system Little Elm Valley WSC to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform our customers that due to a water outage for Plant 3 maintenance, water from the system must be boiled prior to consumption. This boil water notice was for customers north of FM 935 in the Troy area.

They say their system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Jan. 28.

If you have questions, contact Robert Jekel at 1-800-826-4322.

If a customer wishes to reach TCEQ, they may call 512-239-4691.
