KILLEEN, TX — UPDATE:
Water service to Cedar Valley Elementary did not have to be suspended as a result of the water line break, so the boil order issued this morning is not in effect, according to the City of Killeen. Water is safe to drink and use without boiling.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A boil water notice is issued effective immediately Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. for Cedar Valley Elementary School located at 4801 Chantz Drive.
A water line break has interrupted water service. Crews are on-site making repairs. Once repairs are complete and service is restored, all water must be boiled prior to consumption.
The school has been notified directly.
