BELTON, TX — UPDATE: The Boil Water Notice has been rescinded as of Feb. 11.

-

The Dog Ridge Water Supply Corporation is issuing a Boil Water Notice after a main water line break on North Wheat Rd in Belton.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our customers on N & South Wheat Rd and most of W FM 93 to boil their water prior to consumption.

Customers on George Wilson Rd & Paddy Hamilton Rd will not be affected.

To ensure the destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and continue boiling for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable course.
