Birthday Bash and Benefit to be held for 4-year-old battling Leukemia

BELTON, TX — A benefit and birthday bash will be held in Belton on August 3 for young Jeremiah Castilleja who is battling cancer.

Jeremiah Joe Castilleja was born August 3, 2015 and diagnosed with Acute Lympohblastic Leukemia in January of 2019.

His family invites the community to celebrate Jeremiah's 4th birthday and show support for "this lil' warrior and his family as he battles ALL."

BBQ plates cooked by Sam Vaca will be sold starting at 11 a.m. for $10 dollar each. A live auction will be held by Jamie Elkins at 1 p.m., and raffle tickets can be purchased to win a "$100 Lotto Basket."

To contribute or help with the benefit, you can donate to the silent or live auction. You can also help by volunteering to help with baked goods setup/cleanup, serving food or by attending the event.

The event will be held Aug. 3, 2019 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the VFW Auxiliary Post 4008 located at 2311 S Pearl St., Belton, Texas.
