A Belton woman is dead after a major crash near Little River Academy Thursday morning.
Lona Gail Thorne, 58, of Belton has been identified as the victim.
Texas DPS Troopers responded to a major one vehicle crash on FM 436 near Little River Academy around 5:52 A.M. on May 28.
A 2002 Ford Ranger, operated by Lona Gail Thorne, 58, of Belton, was travelling eastbound on FM 436.
The investigation revealed that Thorne failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The Ford Ranger left the roadway and rolled over, according to DPS.
Thorne was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace Coleman.
