BELL COUNTY, TX — A Belton man was arrested Thursday after police found crystal meth, firearms and cash at his home earlier in June.
The Bell County Organized Crime Unit had been investigating a person suspected of distributing large amounts of crystal methamphetamines in the Bell County area.
On June 6, the Bell County Organized Crime Unit and Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at Brian Lee Nourse's home in the 5200 block of Dog Ridge Road. His home is in a rural area of Bell County.
At the home, units found 113 grams of crystal methamphetamine, three stolen firearms and $1,000 cash.
One person at the scene was arrested, but Nourse was not at home when the warrant was execute.
On June 27, U.S. Marshals located and arrested Brian Lee Nourse, 44-years-old, on an outstanding warrant related to the investigation.
Nourse is being held in the Bell County Jail on a $100,000 bond. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
