BELTON, TX — The Belton Fire Department announced it is making temporary changes to its smoke detector program due to COVID-19.
The department will not install new smoke detectors in residences for the time being. It typically provides and install smoke detectors as a services for residents with a need.
However, Belton residents can still pickup free smoke detectors.
To claim a smoke detector, stop by Station 2 at 420 Sparta Road with proof of residency.
