TEMPLE, TX — A new attraction is coming to the Temple Mall in January, an interactive aquarium with multiple exhibits!

It even includes a lazy river boat ride, where you can enjoy cruising beside an "array of ocean creatures like sharks, stingrays, fish and other species."

The 7 Seas Aquarium is hoping to offer visitors a unique chance to "experience marine life up close."

Other attractions include "touch pools," shark and stingray interactions and feeding the fish of course!

The touch pools will include crabs, urchins and starfish, and you can even feed the turtles and giant catfish in a freshwater exhibit.

For the older kids, ages 10 and up, there's a shark and stingray exhibit where the kids can actually hold a nurse shark or stingray (in a safe and controlled environment, of course, says 7 Seas!).

Then, of course, you can feed the fish all day long!.

Every exhibit in the Aquarium is supposed to include fish feeding opportunities. Get fish food at the entrance when you come in, and can refill it throughout your adventure.

The interactive aquarium will be located next to Great American Cookie, on the north side of the Temple Mall.

Types of passes will include a family pass, good for 4 people for a year, or daily passes, which will be available once the aquarium opens.
