TEMPLE, TX — Temple police are investigating after a 70-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Friday.
Police said at approximately 5:20 p.m., an accident involving two vehicle occurred near the 8200 block of W Adams.
The driver of one of the vehicles was a 70-year-old woman who was pronounced dead on the scene. The other driver did not sustain life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The 70-year-old was identified as Jeannie Elliot on Monday.
No other injuries were reported.
Circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
