KILLEEN, TX — An 18-year-old has been charged with making a terroristic threat against three schools.
According to the Killeen Police Department, on Wednesday, August 28, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were notified about a social media post that suggested a threat of violence to Ellison, Killeen and Shoemaker High Schools.
Eighteen-year-old Cameron Lavonta Garner-Brown and his 14-year-old brother were arrested Wednesday for terroristic threat.
On Friday, August 30, Garner-Brown was charged by the Bell County District Attorney's Office for terroristic threat. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Daryl Peters, and his bond was set at $100,000.
Garner-Brown has been transported to the Bell County Jail.
Garner-Brown's brother was transported to juvenile detention Wednesday to face prosecution.
