HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — Eleven residents and 10 employees have tested positive for COVID-19 at a Harker Heights assisted living facility.

Dr. Amanda Robinson-Chadwell, Director of the Bell County Public Health District, announced an outbreak at the Indian Oaks Living Center Wednesday. At that time, there were five reported cases.

Following those initial cases, the facility underwent testing. Dr. Robinson-Chadwell says preliminary results include 11 residents and 10 employees. The resident count includes the positive cases that prompted testing.

The health district says additional results will be shared when received.
