10-year-old girl succumbs to injuries after being struck by vehicle, driver arrested

On August 19, 2020, at 3:19 PM, Analeigh Saucedo, succumbed to her injuries that were sustained from the accident.

The driver of the vehicle, Raymond Johnson, still remains in the Bell County Jail and is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A 10-year-old girl is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Bell County Friday night.

Raymond Johnson, the driver of the vehicle that struck the girl, was charged for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Sunday and remains in the Bell County Jail.

At 8:14 pm, Nolanville Police units were dispatched to the 900 block of West Central Texas Expressway where they found a 10 year old female that had been struck by a vehicle.

They also observed a disabled black in color vehicle approximately 800 ft from the child.

While the child was being attended to by Central Bell Fire and Rescue, officers located the driver and placed him into custody.

The child was transported by Acadian Ambulance to McLane’s Children’s Hospital and is in critical condition, according to police.

The driver, a 39 year old male, was taken by officers to Seton Medical Center for a medical checkup and then transported to the Bell County Jail for processing.
