TEMPLE — At the Temple Public Library, His Hands and Feet Ministry meet every other Sunday to supply clothes, a warm meal and ministry to the homeless of Temple.
Husband and wife duo, Jennifer and Steven Pitts, started the group just over a year ago, when they were donated a basket of blankets and wanted to provide them to those in need.
Jennifer Pitts said "They're coming to depend on us, they know we're coming and it means something to me that they're being fed and shown that they're being loved."
The group is funded strictly through donations and the Pitts Family's own wallet, explaining to us that they could expand with help from others.
This is all about showing light in the darkness, this is a dark planet and we need to be the light for Jesus and this is what we feel we need to do
Currently providing for the homeless in Temple, they intend to expand to Killeen.
