A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Freestone county through 8:30 p.m. due to potential for quarter size hail and 60 mph winds.
The main threat is half-dollar size hail. The storm is currently approaching I-45 and is moving northeast at 45 mph towards Teague and areas south of Fairfield. Head indoors and away from windows if in the path!
