WEST, TX — Rodney Atkins will play Westfest Friday night at 10 p.m. after special guest Brit Kerr. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m.
Westfest is a three-day event kicking off on Friday night, Aug. 30 and lasting through Sunday night, Sept. 1.
This year's Westfest includes a carnival, parade, 5K kolache run, helicopter rides and more. There is full line-up of musicians and live music happening each night.
The parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, and the 5K Kolache run happens Sunday at 8 a.m.
The first 100 kids will receive a free wrist band for the carnival on Friday night.
At Westfest, guests can experience cultural dance performances, authentic czech cuisine, helicopter rides, a carnival and midway, arts and crafts and the parade of costumes.
