Carter’s Burgers in Bryan has weathered the storm that is the coronavirus pandemic, for nearly the last year.

“We’ve been hanging in there, business has been good so far. We’ve dropped off on some places, but we’re hanging in there and trying to keep our customers coming in,” said Kayla Wesley, Carter’s Burgers Manager.

In an effort to help drive customers to local eateries in town, including Carter’s Burgers, Destination Bryan has designated the entire month of February as Restaurant Month.

“It’s awesome to be featured on it, just to be able to get our name out there, even just a little more, especially to locals around town. Our locals are really the base of what’s kept us going through COVID and everything,” shared Wesley.

All month long, Carter’s Burgers has great deals, Monday-Wednesday, for anyone that stops by and mentions the ‘Bryan Restaurant Month Pass’.

“We have our half-priced burgers on there, so Tuesday night from 5 P.M. to close, all of our basic burgers are going to be half off. Then on Monday and Wednesday nights, we have our 80 cent ice cream scoops; we have over 20 flavors of Blue Bell, so it's an awesome deal and that’s also going to be from 5 P.M. to close on Monday and Wednesday nights,” shared Wesley.

In a town where the community is everything, ‘Restaurant Month’s’ sponsor, Engel & Völkers say they jumped at the opportunity to sponsor Bryan's Restaurant Month.

“We’re defiantly a community, a tight-knit community downtown, but all of Bryan, really, it’s been an incredible experience. We’ve been down here for two years now and were welcomed with open arms and, we’ve been blessed, the community has given us so much that we felt that it was the perfect opportunity to give back,” shared Edward Allison, Managing Broker of Engel & Völkers Bryan-College Station.

Engel & Völkers will be donating $1 to the Brazos Valley Food Bank up to $1000 for each check-in at the 32 participating restaurants when customers use the Bryan Restaurant Month Pass.

“One, with the struggle that the restaurants had over the last year, especially locally, it was an opportunity to help. The second side to that, was definitely with the Brazos Valley Food Bank, it was kind of a natural fit to say, absolutely, let's do this!” shared Allison.

25 News KRHD has also pledged to make a $1000 donation to the Brazos Valley Food Bank this month.

“When we saw the city of Bryan coming together to support local restaurants and the local food bank, we knew this was something we would love to support,” says 25 News VP & General Manager, Adam Chase. “2020 was a hard year for all of us, and we hope this donation will help those in the Brazos Valley have a better start to 2021.”

Carter’s Burgers say, having the added publicity for an entire month is huge for all participating restaurants and that when you visit any of the 32 participating restaurants, you have a chance to earn special offers, prizes, and a chance to win 1 of 3, Bryan 'staycation' packages.

Carter’s Burgers is open daily from 11 A.M.-9 P.M. and is located at the following address:
3105 S Texas Ave, 700, Bryan, TX 77802
