COLLEGE STATION, TX — Due to the inclement weather, Texas A&M has decided to cancel 'Aggie Leadoff': A tradition, often viewed as the "unofficial start of the 2021 season".
For the Vs. Cancer Foundation, Texas A&M has used the event in the past as an annual fundraising effort for the cause. Said cause, is a non-profit organization that funds life-saving pediatric cancer efforts, often empowering local athletics and their communities to help raise funds towards the cause as well.
Through the years, Texas A&M baseball has raised more than $150,000 for Vs. Cancer.

Currently, the Aggies still expect to start their season on Feb 19, where they will host the Xavier Musketeers.
