BRYAN, TX — Preparing for phase 1B, St. Joseph Health is requesting assistance from retired and not currently practicing nurses, medical assistants and EMTs.
This phase provides the COVID-19 vaccine to higher-risk individuals, regardless of their work sector or status, and will provide protection for a number of critical populations at an increased risk of getting COVID-19.
Said volunteers would administer vaccines at their vaccine clinics; they are hoping to secure a number of volunteers within the next weeks.
