ROBERTSON COUNTY, Texas — A multi-vehicle crash in Robertson County has left one dead, said officials.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Highway 6, about 1 mile north of OSR, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
A driver inside a 2007 Freightliner truck tractor had been heading southbound, towing a trailer behind it.
Meanwhile, a driver inside a 2011 Ford Van was exiting a private drive.
Upon exiting, the van was struck by the truck tractor semi-trailer, according to Texas DPS.
Multiple highway lanes were shut down earlier in accordance.
All northbound lanes have since reopened, including one heading southbound, said Texas DPS.
At this time, authorities are still asking commuters to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
