BRAZOS COUNTY, tx — Cost-friendly meets fashion and comfort in a new line of scrubs on the market, and it was launched by a Hearne native.

"When I was in healthcare, I loved to wear cute, affordable pair of scrubs," LoVasha Benford, V Line Scrubs and More said.

Benford knows the struggle to find the perfect pair.

"So I wanted to find them for other people," Benford said.

In August, she introduced V Line Scrubs and More- keeping customer's pockets in mind.

"I am very passionate about bringing affordable scrubs. Even if I am not bringing a big profit out of it. I just don't want to put any other healthcare worker in a bind," Benford said.

As the owner of the health care service, V's Servant Heart, Benford saw first-hand how the pandemic impacted healthcare workers.

"Due to the pandemic, a lot of people can't afford scrubs, some people's hours have got cut," Benford said.

Her price 25 dollars a set no matter the size.

They're made from a stretchy, breathable material, unlike other cotton scrubs.

You can get different colors and styles such as joggers. For a bolder fashion statement, some even come with zippers.

Benford has also partnered with a fellow small business owner, Touched by Tori to provide these healthcare worker t-shirts which can easily mix and match with scrub pants.

"A lot of healthcare workers want to go to work with nice scrubs, nice, shirts and they are very comfortable to wear," Chatorian Workman owner of Touched by Tori T-shirts, said.

"We know it's hard on healthcare workers, but we salute healthcare workers," Benford said.

Sending a salute by supplying budget-friendly work clothes without compromising quality and style.

The owner of V-Line Scrubs and More says she is willing to work out a payment plan to make sure health care workers get the scrubs they need.

You can get a pair at her storefront located at 114 S. Magnolia St. in Hearne or click here is to visit the website.
