BRAZOS VALLEY, TX — Chilifest has announced their 2021 spring event has been canceled due to COVID-19 related complications with organizing this year.

"We value all of the support from our fans, sponsors, and vendors. We are sympathetic to those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and will work toward a Chilifest Music Festival in the spring of 2022. We have weathered many storms during the event itself, everything from winter-like conditions, to tornadoes, to torrential rain, lightning storms, dust storms, and MORE! Every time, we have prevailed and been able to have a positive impact on the Brazos Valley through our many gifts and contributions." the organization wrote in part.

However, ending on a positive note, they wanted to let the community know that does not mean it's a complete wrap for the beloved-event.

"We can get through this together and TOGETHER WE WILL! In the meantime, Chilifest is planning a fall 2021 concert and fundraiser in College Station, Texas. We will release more information as soon as possible. Don’t put up your dancing shoes just yet! We are hopeful you will still be able to join us for our special fall event as well as Chilifest 2022!" the organization shared in closing to their many fans.
