BRYAN, Texas — STORY UPDATE: A 19-year-old male has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Bryan, police said.
Around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Cavitt Avenue on report of a deceased person inside a residence, according to the Bryan Police Department.
Upon arrival, police said they located David Lopez, 19, of Bryan, inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound.
Bryan police said Lopez was pronounced dead on the scene.
An investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing.
