One person is dead and several people are injured, including a DPS Trooper, after a mass workplace shooting in Bryan.
Around 2:30 p.m., officers were called out to a reported shooting at Kent Moore Cabinets in the area of 350 Stone City Drive.
Bryan PD reported seven victims. One person was found dead at the scene. Four people were transported to CHI St. Joseph in Bryan in critical condition. One person was taken to CHI in College Station with minor injuries.
At last check, two of the injured hospitalized were listed in stable condition. One patient was listed in critical condition, but stable.
Bryan Police have identified the deceased victim as Timothy Smith, a 40-year-old, resident of Bryan. Two victims remain in critical condition.

There are also two victims in stable condition and two victims in critical condition. We will not be releasing their information at this time.
The seventh victim was taken to the hospital due to an asthma attack, but was not injured in the shooting.
The suspect had left the business by the time officers arrived.

Around 3:30 p.m. on FM 39 in Iola, multiple law enforcement agencies were attempting to take the suspect into custody when the suspect shot a DPS Trooper.
Trooper Juan Rojas Tovar of the Madisonville Highway Patrol was life-flighted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan. He is now stable.

The suspect fled and was taken into custody at 4:20 p.m. in Bedias.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Larry Bollin of Grimes County. He has been charged with murder and booked into the Brazos County Sheriff's Office. Bollin is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
Bryan PD says Bollin is an employee at Kent Moore Cabinets. A motive is unknown at this time.

Kent Moore Cabinets took to Facebook Thursday, saying they are cooperating with police and are focusing on their employees and their families.
Governor Greg Abbott issued the following statement.
"I have been working closely with the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers as they assist local law enforcement on a swift response to this criminal act. Their efforts led to the arrest of the shooting suspect. The state will assist in any way needed to help prosecute the suspect. Cecilia and I are praying for the victims and their families and for the law enforcement officer injured while apprehending the suspect.”
On April 9, Bollin faced the Precinct 4 Judge where he confirmed he would be seeking a court-appointed attorney. Bolin's bond for his murder charge in Brazos was set at $1.2 million. Alongside this, his attempted capital murder charge out of Grimes was set at $1 million. Thus, totaling $2.2 million.
Later that Friday, the Bryan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division announced Bolin was served with five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The warrants were reportedly served on Bollin at the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office.
Bollin has also been charged with attempted capital murder by Texas DPS.
In accordance with the law, an offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is a second-degree felony with a punishment range of 2 to 20 years in prison and a fine not to exceed $10,000.
