GRIMES COUNTY, TX — On Jan 24., Grime County Deputies responded to a call from an injured male, reporting he had been shot multiple times within the Todd Mission community.

Deputies and CHI St Joseph’s medics arrived on the scene and found the male unresponsive.

Said male, was then transported by Air Medical to a trauma facility, and immediately underwent emergency surgery.

Following an investigation, the sheriff's and DA's offices were able to identify all those responsible, which included the following suspects:

  • Tylar Jordan (18-years-old),
  • Darian Nelson (20-years-old),
  • Jaquerious Duckett (17 years-old)
  • Unnamed juvenile suspect, that due to age, will remain unidentified

According to the Grime's County sheriff, these four allegedly entered the victim’s residence with the intent to commit an armed robbery.

Following this, the victim was shot multiple times and several of his belongings were stolen from the residence.

The suspects immediately fled the area in a white passenger car.

As of Feb 9., Jordan, Nelson, and Duckett have all been charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree Felony. Currently, additional criminal charges are still being sought.

Due to this being an ongoing investigation, no further details are available to the public at this time.

Roughly 16 days later, the shooting victim in this case remains listed in critical condition.
