Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, known for having the largest indoor waterparks in the U.S., is expanding to Round Rock this fall.
The African-themed resort is a $550 million project located on 350 acres.
The resort will have nearly 1,000 guest rooms, along with the largest indoor waterpark and a convention center.
Aside from water adventures, guests can check out Tom Foolery's Adventure Park, where you can try your hand at ziplining, a rope's course, bowling, laser tag, mini golf and more.
There will also be outdoor pools spanning 3 acres.
The location will have five restaurant - Double Cut Charcoal Grill, Kalahari’s signature steakhouse experience; Mondo Sortino’s, which includes an Italian Kitchen, Pizzeria and Gelato shop; and 5 Niños Tex-Mex restaurant. There will also be a spa and salon and additional retail space at the report.
