Two people were arrested after Temple police conducted search warrants on two separate homes.
Temple police said that on Oct. 31, the first home that was searched was on the 2700 block of S. MLK. Police found two grams of meth, five ounces of marijuana, over 500 ecstasy pills and over 40 Xanax pills. Officers also found a Glock 42 handgun and about $3,000 in cash. Police say that the street value of the drugs was $17,000.
Antonio Gardner was the only person at the home at the time. He was taken to the Bell County Sheriff's Office.
The second home that was searched was on the 5000 block of Warwicke Drive. Officers found about 180 grams of powder cocaine, 262 grams of crystal meth, 21 grams of black tar heroin, ecstasy pills and a large amount of marijuana. Officers also found an AK pistol, a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun, a Glock 23 handgun, a Kahr 380 handgun and a Taurus 38 special, as well as ammo for each. $3,500 in cash was also found.
Police say the street value of the drugs found at the second residence was approximately $55,600.
Damion Montgomery was the only person in the second home. He was arrested and taken to the Bell County Jail.
