Starting on Sunday, there will be double main lane closures on I-35 in Waco.
According to TxDOT, on Sunday from 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. and on Monday from 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., I-35 northbound will have two closed lanes at a time to allow the contractor to place bridge deck panels for the new Forrest St. Bridge.
The closure may be the two outside or inside lanes, depending on the progress of work, and will switch from one side to the other as the work progresses.
Alternate routes are advised, and Loop 340 will be available as an alternate route.
There will be warning signs in place to assist travelers. Motorists are advised to obey all warning and detour signs.
This work is planned weather permitting, according to TxDOT.
