The Granite Shoals Police Department is urging residents who see water on their property to evacuate immediately.
"All area resources are stretched to the max. If you are safe away from low lying areas, shelter in place. If you are near or on the water GET OUT NOW!" they said in a Facebook post.
They added that you should not call 911 unless it's an emergency or you are trapped.
They said that unless you are evacuating, please stay off the roads. They are urging residents to keep the areas free for emergency services to respond.
