A Bellmead man is in jail after he stabbed his roommate during an argument.
According to the arrest affidavit, JT Nutt grabbed the victim during an argument and put a knife to his neck. When the victim moved, Nutt cut his neck. The victim then fell to the ground and Nutt stabbed him in the stomach.
The victim was brought to the hospital, where he and a witness were interviewed by police.
The witness reported that the victim has damage to his liver from the stabbing.
Nutt was picked out of a photographic lineup by the witness and victim.
The affidavit said the victim described the knife he was stabbed with as a black fix blade knife that Nutt wears in a nylon case on his side.
Nutt was arrested for aggravated assault on Saturday.
